Review: Flour Bakery and Cafe, Boston USA

Flour Bakery Boston USAThe totally incredible cakes,  brownies and cookies here might easily distract you from the gourmet sandwiches and delicious pizzas that make a great lunch at the canteen like tables. Friendly service and good coffee provide yet more reasons to keep popping back. We ordered a pizza to share and the ingredients were all fresh and tasty, and the sweet treats we tried (including a brownie and a sticky bun) were all beautifully baked. It was hard to choose! We spotted a range of healthy options too, though with cookies from $1 could anyone resist?! The only downside was that it is understandably popular, and quite small and busy, so it was clear that a table would be tricky to come by at rush times and we saw some long queues. Worth the wait, but if you can avoid peak times, even better. It’s well located near the waterfront at 12 Farnsworth Street, or check out www.flourbakery.com Sarah Cooke
