Photo Story: a top place for a bike ride

Guilin and nearby Yangshuo in southern China have no shortage of stunning landscapes but there’s also rarely a shortage of visitors sharing the views. Want to get a little bit off the beaten track for a day without straying too far from the comforts of a well served backpacker town? Take a bike ride to Dragon Bridge – you can rent bikes from 10 Yuan a day and in no time at all you’ll be cycling through rice paddies, fish farms and tiny villages. You can even take a breather at any time and load yourself and your bike onto a bamboo raft and float along the Yulong River!
