This large compound in Zambia’s adventure sports capital is so much more than just a backpackers. The site includes dorm rooms, a small campsite, a bar and restaurant, a self-catering kitchen and a pool as well as a free daily shuttle bus to Victoria Falls. Their well-staffed and invaluable travel desk can help you organise a wide range of activities including white water rafting and bungee jumping. In the centre of the lodge is a submerged cushion pit below a crows-nest hide out, perfect for relaxing with one of the hundreds of books from the huge book exchange. The price you pay for all this is small and sometimes cramped dorms which can become sweltering if there are no fans available. Honestly though, with the pool and bar packed until the early hours, it’s unlikely you’ll be spending much time in bed. Book a room at their main site or new more family orientated campsite here. Would love to visit this place someday.!!
